Welcome to Habitica. So there are basically two kinds of groups in Habitica, Guilds and Parties. A guild is a huge group of Habiticans who are focusing on improving a particular aspect of their lives. I'm active in a writers' guild, for instance. Guilds will usually offer Challenges, which have you perform specific tasks therein. Habitica is more feature heavy but Liferpg is much more customizable. Personally, the make or break between them is parties. If you have a group of people who will join you in a party then Habitica is your choice.
